Find the problem: This may be a statement after the fact - but it's important that the "period pain be investigated if it hasnt- there is the possibility of things like fibroids, endometriosis and other problems. If it has been investigated - then often times hormonal regulation can help- this includes the different forms of birth control such as pills, shot ring or patch. Period pain: I suggest my women to start taking Aleve (naproxen) or naprosyn 500 mg twice a day with meals 2-3 days prior to period onset and take it until period finishes, that usually works very well.
