Possible pregnancy: The abnormal cycle can be sign of pregnancy or failed pregnancy. Often times the egg is successfully fertilized- but then something occurs that makes the pregnancy not successful- it may not implant into the uterus or there may have been chromosome problems etc. In many cases this is for the best. On the other hand you could still be pregnant if cycle not nml- could be ectopic- consult dr.
