can you have hpv without warts ?

1 doctor answer
Dr. James Ferguson

Yes: Two of the 4 best known strains of hpv produce warts & 2 do not. The non wart strains are better known for their association with abnormal pap smears & cervical cancer. There are dozens of other strains not associated with either.
