? Angioedema: If this is relatively painless and not itchy ( i assume this because you did not mention it) it is not likely due to infection or traditional allergy. And is likely angioedema. This is an intermittent problem which may or may not have an identified trigger. Sometimes due to medication use. If you are taking any medication whose name ends in - pril, you should stop it and talk to your doc.
