Many uses: Nitric oxide functions as a signaling molecule (neurotransmitter) telling your body to make blood vessels relax and widen. Bodybuilders and athletes may use Nitric Oxide for blood flow, oxygen delivery, glucose uptake, muscle velocity, power output, and muscle growth. There are side effects associated with this supplement. Do your homework. How about balanced eating with whey protein.

Lung problems: Nitric oxide (no) is a gas, it is made by the body in small amounts and helps regulate many functions. For example no regulates of blood flow, as it works to dilate blood vessels. No can be given as a gas via inhalation and has some role in treating conditions with excessive blood pressure in the lungs ( pulmonary hypertension). There is not pill form of no, .

Some drugs work by increasing NO levels ( for example anti-angina drugs) but are not NO itself. What is commonly billed in health food stores as NO for muscle building is not NO at all but the amino acid Arginine. Arginine is used by the body to make NO.
