Avoids risk, death: Baby cannot benefit from a flu shot until it is at least 6m. But could benefit from anti-flu antibodies you develop before delivery. It is safe for you and baby if you get it now and avoids big risks. We lost two pregnant moms to the flu in my town two years ago.Sadly we delivered one baby c-section & sent it home with grandma(mom didn't survive the flu).

Flu shot = important: Agree with Dr. Ferguson. "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommend that all women who are pregnant during flu season get a flu shot, regardless of their trimester."
