If healed, nothing. : Typically, a broken bone that has healed completely as determined by both clinical exam and x-rays does not require protective bracing or padding upon returning to most activities.

Nothing required: No bracing is required for appropriately healed forearm fractures. Sometimes prominent hardware from a surgical repair may warrant a need for a brace or padding to prevent irritation to the area.
