Yes it is possible: Some side effects of Plan B (levonorgestrel) may include spotting, breakthrough bleeding, scanty bleeding and irregular period. It is advisable to complete a pregnancy test. It is also important to know that Plan B is not intended to be used as a routine contraceptive.

Plan B: Plan B may cause that type of irregular bleeding. Emergency contraception symptoms can include spotting or bleeding, changes in menstrual flow or your period may be late or early. Take a home pregnancy test & notify your GYN if your period is 7 or > days late.
