Why does my face and ears get really hot and flushed out of nowhere?

Flushing: How old are you? Menopause causes it, hormonal imbalancing ( hyperthyroidism) causes it, rosacea ( a skin condition causes it). Fever causes it. Adrenalin rush ( stress etc) causes it.
