Having period symptoms but its too early for my period?

Irregular periods: Irregular periods are very common. When patients have this i always want to know what their pattern was over the past year. If only one or two cycles are abnormal then this is not a concern. If the overall pattern is irregular then this warrants evaluation. Birth control methods are excellent ways to establish cycle control and have the "side effect' of preventing unplanned pregnancy.
