Bioavailability: Oral drug usually pass through the liver after absorption from the GI tract. This removes a certain amount (first-pass). Injectable forms bypass this . Oral liquids have a better abosrption profile than tablets and so may peak higher. In the long run it the steady state levels over a long period that are important.
