Old time remedy: Years ago, listerine was touted to be good for dandruff. Not sure anymore. Remember, many mouthwashes contain alcohol which can dry the scalp and probably make the dandruff worse. Might want to look into a dandruff shampoo. Check with your pharmacist on the different types.

Probably: Their are shampoos in stores for dandruff i would try first , then a prescription medication from a physician that i would try second. Most mouth washes have alcohol that will dry out your scalp and could damage your hair. I would not recommend it.
