Possibly not: Drug testing can detect even minute amounts of painkillers and other drugs. If your job requires drug testing, you need to find out which pain medications are ok: tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil probably are, but vicodin or other narcotics even in small amounts probably are not. Consult your pain management doctor for more advice, and help in cutting down on any medications that could cause you problems.

Yes: Generally a urine drug screen tests for the presence of a drug and not the quantity of drug in your body. The test will most likely still be positive depending on what medication you are on and when your last dose was.
