A member asked:

How come chest pains in center of chest?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve pathways: Even though the heart is anatomically to the left-centre of the chest, the pathways of the nerves that bring sensation from the heart lead one to perceive chest pain as right in the center, under the breastbone. For similar reason, some people experience heart pain in the jaw and/or left arm.
