Teeth or Gums?: Itching gums are usually a sign of inflammation of the gums due to gingivitis, periodontal disease, food caught in a pocket between the tooth and gum tissue or a contact-allergy to something you ate. See your dentist for proper diagnosis.

Injury: When teeth respond abnormally it is usually because an injury. Now, you can try sensodyne tooth paste, if the problem resolves you will know that the cause is coming from an external injury, if you don’t feel any improvement the cause would be internal.
