Depends: Discharge is very common and most will not cause a problem. Some may be signs of infection particularly when they are irritating, itchy or smelly. There are some stds which can also cause discharge and may be a problem for the baby at birth. Ask your md about your discharge and testing and treatment can be done if needed.
