Orgasm: Orgasm isn't something you "catch, " like a frisbee or a cold. It's a response that happens naturally -- either with self-stimulation, or with the right partner who touches you in ways that please you. If you're on certain medications (ssri's, etc) it can be harder to release in orgasm. Also if you're worried about how you appear to others, it can be difficult to relax enough to let go sexually.

Many possibilities: Distraction or preoccupation, discomfort with partner, guilt, feeling physically or emotionally unsafe, self-consciousness, partner finishes too soon, dryness/lack of arousal, lack of sufficient stimulation (eg, clitoral), physical illness or pain, etc. Also, some women "learn" how to climax with their partner over time, some need stimulation other than intercourse, and some just can't.
