Yes: Extra focusing effort or blurred vision can cause vertigo and nausea. Sometimes we see this in our new contact lens patients and can be exacerbated by motion. Please let your ophthalmologist know about this.

Eye strain: Not usually. Sometimes glaucoma can cause abdominal pain, but this does not usually cause eye strain.
