Experimenting?: Body odors from foods can be from chemicals in the food that are absorbed during digestion, and then secreted onto the skin via the sweat glands or oil glands. Garlic, curry, and onions are known to cause aromas this way. The groin area has lots of oil and sweat glands, so is capable of transmitting such food-related aromas. Haven't heard of pineapples doing it, though.
