Can you get the flu from the vaccine if inactivated?

No: It is a very popular belief that getting the vaccine will cause the flu. But, it will not. The most common side effects are soreness at shot site, and possibly mild cold symptoms and a low grade fever.

No: You cannot get the flu from a dead germ. The injectable forms of the flu vaccine are dead. The nasal spray has a weakened live germ & some folks have problems with it.
