Itching: On a foot may be caused by a fungus. It may also be a sign of neuropathy, or even a strained muscle or ligament may burn or "feel itchy". I would examine the skin to see if it is scaly at all and if yes then apply antifungal cream. Next, i would look for any signs of a flat or "falling arch" and if present recommend arch supports.

Itching of feet: Congestion in venous flow (return of blood to the heart) can cause itching when standing for periods of time. It can also be accompanied by some swelling.
