A member asked:

Is an age to height to weight chart accurate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In terms of?: There are growth charts with reference norms to determine if growth rate is normal. The chart isn't the problem if there is concern about accuracy. Kids have to be measured with a stadiometer (shoes off) to get accurate height info. If it still doesn't seem right the stadiometer may need to be calibrated to make sure it's accurate.
