There is a spectrum: Human sexual preference is on a spectrum from compete heterosexuality to complete homosexuality. Many people are predominantly hetero but are occasionally attracted to members of their own sex. Those who are sufficiently bisexual may be attracted enough to either sex to want to be sexually active with both.
