Morning Sickness: Pregnancy is a unique time in the life of every woman. Nausea and vomiting is normal in the 1st trimester. In extreme cases will lead to dehydration which will require hospitalization. When there is associated abdominal cramps and pinkish vaginal discharge you need to go see your OB doctor for further evaluation. It may be early signs of miscarriage. Better to see the doctor and be reassured.

Call your doctor: Vomiting is a common symptom in early pregnancy. When it becomes excessive, if you become dehydrated, are having abdominal pain, blood in your vomit or bloody vaginal discharge (not sure which you're describing) these symptoms go beyond normal and indicate that you may need medical attention. Call your family doctor or OB and talk this over. If you're feeling dizzy or weak, go to the er.
