Yeast is ubiquitous: Yeast is a form of fungus. These "germs" are everywhere. Our natural protective methods and immune system prevent yeast from growing. Anything that upsets the local "environment" of the body may allow yeast to grow in sufficient numbers to cause an infection. Athlete's foot is an example. Yeast prefer to grow in warm moist areas; careful drying after bathing may help; sometime creams are needed.
