Fungus/yeast infectn: Thrush is Candida Albicans infection, a common fungus or yeast. Common in babies, under dentures, or if your resistance is comprimised. Usually white surface which can be rubbed off to reveal a red base. Also can be at the corners of the mouth. Treat the cause, and or use anti-fungal medicines. Contagious? Shouldn't be. Candida is "normal flora".
