It depends: Pulmonary fibrosis caused by bleomycin may be permanent, although it can improve over time. Pulmonary fibrosis caused by gemciteabine usually improves. It's less likely to go away the longer you received the drug. Radiation therapy that included the lungs increases the risk for permanent pulmonary fibrosis.

Depends on the fibro: If chemotherapy has resulted in end-stage fibrosis then it is unlikely that the fibrosis can be reversed. There are various ild's that are labelled "pulmonary fibrosis" caused by chemotherapy that are reversible though.
