A member asked:

What might cause bleeding after 6 days on new birth control pill?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

OCPs: It is not unusual to have break through bleeding and other changes to your bleeding pattern with the introduction of new birth control pills. The 28day cycle should even out within 3-6 months. Make sure pills are taken at around the same time each day and that no pills are missed. Both of these things can cause break through bleeding.
