Not necessary: The desire to clean the colon relates to ancient medical theories about internal toxicity derived from the colon. The colon, thank you, is fully capable of taking care of itself and needs no cleansing. You can pay a great deal of money to alternate practitioners for colon cleansing but this is money badly spent. If you think you have medical problems, see your family doctor.

No need to: The best way to "clean" your colon is by consuming a high fiber diet with plenty water. The recommendations are to eat between 25-35 gm of fiber per day. All the best!

Fiber and water: By far the best is fiber and water. There are other salt solutions that pull water through the bowels but that is temporary. High fiber and water can be a lifestyle.
