Varies!: There is too great a difference between the sexes, pregnancy, the young and old, and those with certain illnesses, and for those even on certain drugs. Their is a new field called nutrogenomics, which has identified vast differences between vitamin needs in humans. The most common needs: 8 glasses of water; 1g of protein per 2 lbs of body weight; and 20-24 grams of fiber for adults.
