No: In general periods follow about 2 weeks after ovulation if you're not pregnant, so regular periods are a sign of regular ovulation. If you have irregular periods and are trying to conceive, or have regular periods and are trying for 6 months or more in your late 30's, see a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist for testing and treatment.
