Need examination: Various conditions cause umbilical pain, first a small hernia is most frequent problem, previous surgical scar , a stitch extruding out, an umbilical granuloma a type of infection, some times pelvic inflammation, early appendicitis , and refered pain from liver or bladder due to embryonal developmental relation , only way to know the cause is by visiting your doctor.
