Sure it's herpes?: That's very high dose daily suppressive rx if immune competent; and high end of dosing if immune incompetent. Maybe it's not herpes. Seen a dermatologist? Or infectious disease doc? Could be dermatitis herpetiformis (look alike rash, often associated with celiac sprue), or other underlying immunological issue. There are other anti herpes meds available as well.
