About 18 inches: Essentially to your face while breastfeeding. Probably still blurry, and sees contrasts (black and white) better than colors.

Not that far!: Most newborns can probably see moms silhouette ... Black , white and deep red seem to catch the babies attention! but no worries! he still love you same, your voice works wonders too! enjoy baby brandon ! regards!

At least a foot: Babies are nearsighted at birth but see clearly at least a foot with some fuzz out at later distances.There is a gradual progression to clear vision (in most) by the age of five.
