Is dark.black spotting ok while pregnant?

Please call your OB: It depends how far along you are, if it is at the beginning sometimes u can have some spotting but your OB needs to examine u and do follow the b-hcg test or do an ultrasound if u are far enough- should be able to see a fetus with htbeat at 6 1/2 weeks, if u are at the end u can have some spotting as your cervix thins out- but your OB still should check u, at any other time- u should not have any.
