Chances of getting pregnant as a teen?

Pretty high: If you are healthy, fertile and have regular menstrual cycles you have about an 80% chance of getting pregnant within a year of having regular unprotected sex.

Yes you can!: When most young girls start menstruating, they have irregular cycles b/c they are not ovulating. However, withing a year or so, the cycles normally regularize and they do begin to ovulate. This means that they can get pregnant from that time on. Don't take chances. Remember, you can always ask for Plan B (the morning after pill) from your pharmacist and this significantly decreases your risk.
