Collar Bone: Generally, the collar bone or clavicle as the most commonly fractured single bone. The clavicle is relatively thin and exposed, with little protection. If you look at general areas, the wrist (made of several bones) is the most common area fractured under the age of 75 and the hip for those over 75 years old.
