Typically no: Symptoms during an ms relapse may vary based on body temperature, or even presence or absence of infection, but are not affected by posture unless located in neck, where flexion and/or extension can trigger electrical lhermitte's. Ms pts may acquire co-morbidities such as carpal tunnel syndrome or b-12 deficiencies, but most true relapse symptoms are independent of position.
