Doesnt make sense: This sounds like a nuclear stress test. The term "irreversible" and "ischemia" never belong together for this test. An irreversible defect is a scar from prior heart attack. Hibernating heart tissue (which may become normalized if blood flow is restored), or an false finding/artifact. A "reversible" defect indicates ischemia. This is confirmed by an angiogram. Treat by stenting or bypass surgery.
