Not clear: Several causes are possible: wrist arthritis, irritated skin (allergy, chemicals), nerve problems. Nerve problems only involving the top of the hand is extremely unlikely. If your wrist is stiff and/or your are having difficulty using your hand, see an orthopedist or rheumatologist.
