No good treatments: Medications that suppress the nerves and brain signals involved in balance (such as benzodiazepine drugs) have been found to help some patients, but don't seem to offer a permanent cure. The usual medications that work for vertigo or other forms of dizziness and motion sickness seem to have little effect on mdds patients. Some antidepressants may help. Consult a neurologist or other specialist.

MDDS: I presume you have had an extensive workup to get the diagnosis of Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (MDDS). Unfortunately, there are no easy answers. Some sufferers are helped with vestibular rehabilitation/therapy (commonly referred to as the Cawthorne-Cooksey exercises), particularly if the sufferer has an actual balance problem. Are you sure you don't have Meniere's Disease?
