Could sulphites in wine intensify the pain in my tennis elbow?

Unlikely.: More probable is that alcohol in wine causes temporary anesthesia of the sore joint, causing you to ignore pain and damage it further while under the influence.

Possibly: Sulphites have been implicated in worsening of headaches. With tennis elbow being pain transmitted through your nervous system its possible but no scientific correlation has been established to date.
