A member asked:

Is there any difference between tendonitis and tendinitis?

Clarification: Tendonitis is an inflammation of a tendon, usually due to a strain or over-use injury. Tendinitis is not a condition and i assume a misspelling of tendonitis. However, there is another condition known as tinnitis, which is a "ringing" or "buzzing" sound in the ear, usually due to an acoustic nerve irritation.

U say tomato: That's it, there is tendinitis vs tendinosis . Which refers to a change in the tendon tissue vs the tendinitis which just means inflammation, but in the era of spell checking tendinitis is here because i can't write t e n d o n i t i s without it being changed.
