Possibly: Pregnancy is always a possibility in these cases. Take a home pregnancy test. If it's negative, repeat it in a week and see your doctor.

Brown spots: may be small amounts of old blood being cleaned from your uterus. Take a home pregnancy test if you aren't certain if this was an actual period.
