First, you can cut it out & suture back up the skin and tissues and that takes about 2 weeks to heal but there is a high recurrence rate. You can cut it open & leave open & change dressings (marsupialization) which can take several weeks but low recurrence or do the last procedure but use a wound vac & about 10 days to heal- no packing.
