Chest pain, see MD: There are many possible reasons for chest pain; the most concerning are heart-related. He should see a doctor about this, and if the pain is severe, call 911. If you notice that he stops breathing when he is asleep, this may be apnea, most likely obstructive sleep apnea, and a sleep study will help diagnose this. Left untreated, this can cause more serious problems later.

See your MD: Chest pains? Go to your md right now. But if you are also hearing hear him stop breathing, he has a conditon called sleep apnea (sa). This can be of great concern. People who have sa have a much higher chance of high blood pressure, cardiac disease, metabolic disease like diabetes, gerd, and even cancer. Please have him see his md right away to check his heart, and to consider a sleep study.

Stop breathiing: Make sure he gets a sleep test as soon as possible. He may have sleep apnea. This can cause increased frequency of heart attacks and strokes. I would see a cardiologist and get him checked out soon.
