Possibly: Estrogen can cause cells to grow, but Progesterone is also needed to help those cells mature. In my opinion, this is where traditional medicine has fallen short. According to some studies, it may be benifical having women take Progesterone (not synthetic progestin) to women who have had hysterectomies. This may provide addtional breast protection.
