A member asked:

The tip of my tongue feels burned; when i use mouthwash the taste buds are elevated . could this be allergies or an infection?

Possible: Your description is unlikely "allergies" but could be candidiasis, or even a possible vitamin deficiency. If it is only sore when using your mouthwash, then discontinue that brand. I recommend seeing your dentist for a complete exam and consider a multivitamin for now. Depending on the appearance of your tongue, there may be a simple diagnosis, but I do encourage you to see your dentist soon.

Probably not: The taste buds on your tongue are elevated and due to the several varieties of taste buds their size and shape differs as they also differ on diffrent areas of the tongue. First i would review posibility of chemical food or foreign material burning your tongue also spicey food or stress or lack of bit b or rarely vit c. The burning to mouthwash sounds like what we call denuded.
