History and Physical: There could be several reasons for painful intercourse to include endometriosis, interstitial cystits, vaginal infections, vaginal dryness, vaginismus and more. The pain needs to be better defined-when does it occur-anything make it better-any associated symptoms-any relationship to cycle-can it be reproduced in office. Further testing may be needed.
