MOSQUITO BITES: Take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25 -50 mg to relieve itching every 8 hours. Apply steroid cream to the multiple bites when needed for itching and swelling.

Although it has been: ...Used for this purpose, there is no solid evidence that applying vinegar does anything except make you smell like salad. I've been covered by insect bites on several occasions myself, and what helped me most was gold bond medicated lotion. It numbs the skin slightly, which reduces itch. Cortisone can help a bit. Topical Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is worthless, but oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) helps some. Good luck.
